There are two main routes, and both can be very scenic if properly marked.

During osteotomy, the bone is secured with a plate and screws that remain internal (they are neither visible nor noticeable from the outside). Whenever possible, I opt for minimally invasive techniques that reduce swelling and facilitate a more comfortable recovery.
